10th Annual Defend Your Friend to support Capital Area Humane Society!
Join your fellow animal advocates on Saturday, September 24 for Defend Your Friend at Scioto Audubon Metro Park!
Registration and packet pickup begins at 7am and the race starts at 8am. This event benefits the Capital Area Humane Society’s Cruelty Investigations program.
Run or walk — bring your friends and family! All participants receive a race tshirt and timing chip. Registration is $25 through September 12, then $30. Day-of registration is $35. Your dog can join in the cause too for just $5!
The Capital Area Humane Society is the lead law enforcement agency in Franklin County for investigating animal cruelty, neglect and abandonment. Our humane agents are out in the community 365 days a year, running over 6,000 calls.
